Assumptions, response and verification
  • DEMO opening stock 18 ML; demand 3 ML/day. Stock = max(0, opening − (demand − trucking − alternatives) × days). Shortfall is unmet demand, not negative inventory.
  • Alternative deliveries start immediately in this optimistic screening scenario. Verify approved tanker capacity, loading access, drivers, route restrictions and fuel quality before relying on them. Terminal vessel arrivals do not replenish airport stock while the line is shut.
  • Notify the pipeline operator and emergency authorities, confirm incident location and safe isolation under approved procedures. Jack Stewart’s operations team must approve the recovery plan; this demo cannot authorise it.
  • Before restart retain repair/NDT evidence, approved pressure-test results, fuel-quality release, engineering sign-off and airport stock reconciliation against site acceptance criteria.
