DEMO dig shortlist · NZD
Direct NZD scenario allowances, not converted USD or contractor quotes. Greedy risk-per-dollar ranking, not a guaranteed optimum. Features within 1 km share mobilisation in the model; this does not prove they share a physical excavation. Synthetic HCA matches carry a 1.6× assumption. Mandatory interventions remain mandatory even when outside this budget. No work is approved or released.
Screening assumptions and verification
Synthetic geometry, grade and depths are not as-built evidence. FPR limits 1.10 / 1.25 and 80% WT are DEMO assumptions, not NZ statutory criteria. The inherited growth model uses a fallback prior of 2.0 ± 0.6% WT/year, four-year spacing and 6.2% WT tool noise; these have not been calibrated for Channel. The time-to-limit search steps by 0.05 years, up to 30 years. Dates start from the fixed DEMO snapshot, not today. No gas potential-impact-radius model is used here.
An accountable pipeline engineer must confirm vendor matching, material certificates, measured dimensions, pressure basis, CP and coating evidence and the approved AS 2885.3 integrity plan. Confirm by field NDT before selecting an intervention; retain accepted measurements, repair QA and signed return-to-service evidence. Status changes alone do not prove repair acceptance.
